So, it’s been around about a week since I embarked upon my epic quest to finish all 40 games sat on my shelf before I buy another… In this article, read about my early progress and how I’ve rapidly become bogged down by one of the longest and most challenging games on the 360 already!

So, what does one do when a second stack of unfinished and unplayed games reaches the full height of a shelf and there is literally no room for a third? Naturally, one sets oneself the challenge of finishing them all before buying another… Duh!

The challenge is simple. Play through all forty xbox 360 games at least once, finishing them on the hardest (unlocked) difficulty level and picking up all reasonably easy achievements in the process.

Newest member of the Pixel Junkies team, Rob / Lazy_Bobby, has been an explorer of virtual lands for as long as he can remember. Like so many other gamers out there, his first console was an original Gameboy. The Gameboy, Rob remembers, was ugly, grey and chunky as yer head – but somewhere inside that flickering green screen was a world of magic and adventure.

Editors Note: Rob Parker is the latest addition to the Pixel Junkies team. He’s been around games for some time, but for one reason or another has missed out on a lot of games which the industry considers have been pivotal or in some way awesome. As a result, Rob has recently taken on the mammoth task of catching up with some of the key moments in videogame history and is now writing about them for Pixel-Junkies.co.uk. As a group of mature, experienced gamers, the team at Pixel towers are well up for a bit of shooting and slaughter. Bulletstorm is the latest outing from EPIC and is targeted squarely at regaining some of the market space currently occupied by the Call of Duty/Halo Reach crowd. In fact, so confident are the games makers that a rare demo (at least for a Triple A title before its release) has been announced for the 25th January.
