Review Components
We promise to provide you, the reader, with informative and impartial information about each game we review with the following criteria in mind:
    • Graphics
    • Sound
    • Gameplay
    • Longevity
    • Overall Experience
    • Multiplayer Features
    • Additional Content
Scoring System
Our score is given as a complete number out of ten, with each number roughly equating to the following:
    • 10/10 - Exceptionally good
    • 9/10 - Excellent
    • 8/10 - Very Good
    • 7/10 - Good, but not without flaws
    • 6/10 - Good, but only for those with an interest in the subject matter or genre
    • 5/10 - Average, with some redeeming features
    • 4/10 - Average
    • 3/10 - Bad, with very little to praise
    • 2/10 - Bad, to be avoided at all costs
    • 1/10 - Truly awful, fundamentally broken, or otherwise incomplete
At Pixel-Junkies, we would recommend that any game scoring more than 8 out of 10 is well worth your consideration, whilst games around the 6 or 7 mark represent a good effort in their respective genre, but may be outclassed by other, similar games or suffer from some slight technical issues or gameplay flaws.
Games scoring 4 and 5 represent games which are average at best, there will almost always be a better game of the same type, and you should only consider these if you swing heavily towards the subject matter in question, or because they are exceptionally cheap etc.
Pixel-Junkies believe games scoring 1-3 are truly bad and should not be purchased by anyone. These games will have almost no interesting features, be technically flawed or even unplayable and will do nothing but frustrate you.
